We’re working across our Disability and Wellbeing Services to implement safe and practical procedures to reduce the risks associated with this virus.

We make these changes in the best interests of loved ones living with disability and/or wellbeing struggles — their health and safety is our priority as is the health of our staff who provide the dedicated support.

Accommodation services

In line with Stage 5 Covid Restrictions in South Australia , we are implementing temporary visitor restrictions in order to protect the health and safety of our staff, customers and their families.

During this lockdown, family members are not permitted to take their loved ones out for day trips or move them between households.

If there is a requirement to visit a loved one for care or compassionate reasons, we have encouraged families to liaise with sites directly.

AnglicareSA has directed any employees who have visited a COVID-19 hotspot to undergo immediate testing and quarantine. Employees have also been directed to self-isolate if they come into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

Please remember if you are feeling unwell to follow advice from SA Health. Click here for the latest list of current COVID-19 exposure sites.

Our teams on site are ready to assist family and friends keep in touch via phone and online. Over this period our teams on site are ready to help connect customers with family over the phone and online.

We have communicated to family and friends to contact our sites directly if they have specific questions or concerns.

Outreach services (1:1 services)

As an essential service, we are currently providing a mixed service format with face-to-face and telehealth delivery. Where possible, customers have been offered telehealth appointments or opportunities to reschedule.
