We provide food, support and advocate for individuals and families in need. AnglicareSA Emergency Assistance sites are located in Adelaide City, Elizabeth, Christies Beach, Woodville, Wallaroo & Whyalla.

How can we help?

Emergency Assistance responds to the practical needs of anyone in crisis or experiencing hardship and provides referral to other specialist services.

  • Emergency Assistance: We provide relief through the provision of food, pharmacy vouchers (for prescribed medication), blankets and other linen. Emergency Assistance is available Monday to Friday (from 9am–12pm). Please note each service and its phone line will close when capacity has been reached for the day.
  • Financial Counselling: We will refer you to receive specialist advice on managing creditors and debts, while building your confidence in managing your money. Financial counselling appointments are available Monday to Friday throughout the day. To book a financial counselling appointment please call 1800 759 707 and we will match you with the best financial service to meet your needs and book your appointment.
  • No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS): A loan to purchase a needed household good (like a fridge or washing machine), paying no interest over the 9-12 month loan period.

We couldn’t do the work we do without our generous donors, especially our regular donors and partners who ensure the long-term future of AnglicareSA.

You can donate now to provide a brighter future for South Australians in need.

In closing, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to both our dedicated volunteers, who selflessly contribute their time and skills, and our generous donors, whose support ensures the continued success of AnglicareSA. Thank you for being the driving force behind our mission to create a brighter future for South Australians in need.
