West Works is a social enterprise providing affordable new and secondhand household goods, cleaning and removal services to those in need both internally and externally to AnglicareSA. The West Works team are responsible for the complete set up of new homes for our refugee families.
West Works creates opportunities for people in the community to volunteer, gain work skills, training and demonstrated work experience — ultimately, helping them to achieve paid employment.
Who can access the service
- Anyone who does not have connections to a job agency and wants to enrol as a volunteer for AnglicareSA.
- Work For the Dole participants through Mission Australia.
- Work For the Dole participants through Job Prospects.
Steps on how to access the service
Individuals can contact AnglicareSA directly for volunteering opportunities or they may be referred by their job agency.
