The SETS service is a specialist service that works with humanitarian entrants or family stream migrants with low English proficiency who have lived in Australia for less than five years.

The service has qualified and experienced staff who will connect community members with learning and employment programs, provide practical workshops, consult with the community and assist people to settle well in Australia.

The service focuses on identifying people’s talents, building on their skills, developing their confidence and resilience and connecting people to employment and learning opportunities.

Who can access this service

  • 18 years and above
  • those who have lived in Australia for five years or less
  • humanitarian entrants or migrants
  • those living in Adelaide’s northern suburbs
