Are you looking to minimise stress and negative self-talk? Are you finding yourself time-poor?

Join us for a personal wellbeing workshop led by professionals, where you will learn how to focus on mindfulness. ‘Be kind and unwind’ is about giving yourself permission to relax!

Together, we will journey through:

  • Dealing with emotional overload
  • Taking time for yourself
  • Personal wellbeing strategies and planning
  • Relaxation

This workshop will be held at AnglicareSA Outer Southern Hub and will be run by accredited mental health social worker Joy Ephraums and therapist/counsellor Jaymi Humphreys.

This a FREE workshop is funded by the Department of Social Services.

Lunch will be provided, but we request participants contribute a gold coin donation.

Meet the facilitators

Joy Ephraums

Joy is a family relationships counsellor and accredited mental health social worker who is a key author of ‘Be Kind and Unwind’.  She has over 30 years’ experience in the counselling and community services sector. Joy is passionate to see people develop strategies to manage life’s tough times such as relationship breakdowns and illness. ‘Be Kind and Unwind’ combines both evidenced based psychology with a lived experience of managing major life hurdles.  The concepts of mindfulness, relaxation, effective thought management, and emotional regulation are central in Joy’s personal and professional life.

Jaymi Humphreys

Jaymi is a counsellor with AnglicareSA and facilitates women’s, children’s and men’s groups in the domestic violence and relationship space. Jaymi is also a qualified psychotherapist specialising in mindfulness meditation, hypnotherapy, and expressive art therapy, with four years’ experience running mindfulness, stress management and creative self-healing workshops at various community events around Adelaide. Jaymi is currently studying the art of vinyasa and yin yoga with an emphasis on Qigong meditation.
