The Australian Trusted Brands Survey has named AnglicareSA the most highly commended residential aged care brand trusted in South Australia

AnglicareSA has over 160 years of experience in helping South Australians through services which today include residential aged care, in-home care, and independent living services.

AnglicareSA Chief Executive Officer Grant Reubenicht said AnglicareSA employed more than 900 aged care employees, supported by volunteers, who together serve more than 2000 older South Australians.

“This recognition is well deserved, especially during the challenging environment of the past couple of years, where building and maintaining solid, trusted connections with the people we serve and our frontline aged care employees has been critically important,” said Mr Reubenicht.

“We thank all our aged care employees and volunteers who work tirelessly to support our customers with dignity, respect and compassion,” he said. “Congratulations again to our employees, and those who support them, for this significant achievement.”

AnglicareSA Executive General Manager of Aged Care Services Graydn Spinks said: “The importance of trust in the provision of essential care and support services to older South Australians has never been more important.

“It’s why I am extremely proud we have received this consumer recognition. It amplifies the importance of our everyday work with people who are experiencing some of the most difficult times of their lives and often when they are feeling most vulnerable.”

AnglicareSA operates six residential aged care homes caring for 566 residents in Brompton, Westbourne Park, Trott Park, Grange, and two in Elizabeth.

Mr Spinks said prioritising the health and wellbeing of customers and employees has been at the heart of what Anglicare SA has done for more than a century.

“This tradition of service to others with compassion and dignity is how AnglicareSA builds trust within and beyond our organisation.”

Residential Aged Care in SA was this year added to the Australian Trusted Brands Survey. Salvation Army was named the most trusted brand in this category for SA, followed by AnglicareSA.

Anglicare Australia was named nationally as the most trusted brand for aged care services

The Trusted Brands survey is commissioned by Reader’s Digest and has been running in Australia for 23 years. The survey is conducted by Catalyst Research, an independent market research company, and involved surveying more than 3000 Australians on brands they trust most.

Louise Waterson of Reader’s Digest magazine congratulated AnglicareSA.

“Anglicare SA has shown that even in the most challenging times, only the highest standards of care, respect and concern will do when delivering aged care services to the elderly”
