What the service offers

AnglicareSA’s Evolution Day Options (Evolution DO) program is an alternative education program for young people under Guardianship of the Minister who have been suspended or excluded from school, or have been identified as being disengaged.

Evolution DO is a free learning program funded by the Department of Child Protection (DCP) offering both learning opportunities during the school term, as well as holiday programs and engagement activities during the holiday periods.

Our services are delivered by experienced and qualified youth and social workers who work with the care team.

Evolution DO offers a youth friendly environment, smaller class sizes, engaging activities and accredited learning/foundation skills delivered by qualified trainers who specialise in working with young people.

Curriculum is developed in collaboration with young people and stakeholders to build resilience, develop skills, prepare young people to further their education, and lead them down a path towards long-term employment.
