At AnglicareSA we offer specialised loss and grief counselling services for children of all ages who are bereaved following the death of a parent, sibling or significant adult.
Most people, at some point in their lives, will suffer a significant loss. However, experiencing the loss of a significant other as a child can be very different.
The grief that follows is a normal emotional response to loss. Grief can seem overwhelming at times, but with time and patience and caring support children can adjust to their new circumstances.
In situations where children require additional support, loss and grief counselling can provide the necessary support in an environment that is caring and empathetic.
