What the service offers

Homelessness

Using an integrated approach to case management and housing options, AnglicareSA’s Northern Generic Homelessness Services provide support and assistance to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the following council areas:

  • Tea Tree Gully
  • Salisbury
  • Playford
  • Gawler
  • Barossa Valley
  • Light
  • Mallala

AnglicareSA does not have emergency accommodation or on-the-spot housing, but staff within the service may be able to advocate on the client’s behalf to Housing SA for emergency accommodation.

Intensive Tenancy Support

The service provides short term (up to two years) early intervention for tenants at risk of eviction from public community and/or private rental accommodation.

Boarding House Outreach Support

This service supports clients who wish to be accommodated in a boarding house, and clients already living in boarding houses to access longer term accommodation options.

Who can access the service

Individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The services promote a ‘no wrong door’ policy, ensuring that every client that contacts the service is assessed and referred to appropriate services.
