ElectraNet renews vital sponsorship of AnglicareSA Emergency Assistance service

16 July 2025

AnglicareSA is proud to announce the continuation of its valued partnership with ElectraNet, with the South Australian electricity transmission specialist once again stepping up as a key sponsor of AnglicareSA’s Emergency Assistance service in 2025.

ElectraNet’s ongoing support will help AnglicareSA provide critical, short-term relief to many South Australians facing financial hardship, homelessness, and food insecurity. The Emergency Assistance service offers essential items such as food, clothing, transport vouchers, and financial advice, serving as a lifeline for individuals and families in crisis.

AnglicareSA CEO Grant Reubenicht expressed gratitude for ElectraNet’s continued commitment:

“We are incredibly thankful to ElectraNet for standing alongside us again this year. Their generous support enables us to meet the growing demand for emergency assistance and ensures we can be there when South Australians need us most. Together, we change lives.

ElectraNet CEO Simon Emms reinforced the company’s dedication to supporting the communities it serves:

As the owner and operator of South Australia’s electricity transmission network, ElectraNet is proud to support Anglicare SA through sponsorship of its Emergency Assistance Program.

This important initiative delivers critical support—including food, clothing, advocacy, and essential services—to individuals and families experiencing hardship.

At ElectraNet, we are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy, while building strong community partnerships and supporting South Australia’s clean energy transition.

In 2024, AnglicareSA’s Emergency Assistance service provided support to more than 9,000 people across South Australia, with demand expected to rise further in 2025 due to ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

The renewed partnership reflects both organisations’ dedication to building stronger, more inclusive communities across South Australia.
