A donation in memory is a very special way to honour a loved one when they pass away.
By offering friends and family the opportunity to make a donation to AnglicareSA in lieu of sending flowers to the funeral, you can honour their memory and together help change lives of many vulnerable, marginalised and homeless South Australians.
The collective gifts of your loved ones, family, and friends will be used at the frontline of AnglicareSA services supporting the Emergency Assistance, Post Care Pathways, Star Bear, Thread Together, and Turning Point programs to the most vulnerable people in immediate need in South Australia.
Funeral directors will often help you to collect donations in lieu of flowers by contacting AnglicareSA for a supply of donation envelopes that will be available at the funeral. Alternatively, we can send these directly to a family member.
Following the funeral, AnglicareSA will send a letter and receipt to each person who donates. We will also send an acknowledgement letter to the family or next of kin detailing the names of those who donated in memory of your loved one.
If you would like to receive In Memory donations when you pass away it would be helpful to advise your family, friends, and executor and include instructions in your will.
