What is Modern Slavery?
Modern slavery involves the abuse and exploitation of vulnerable human beings. It can take many forms, including human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced labour, wage exploitation, debt bondage, deceptive recruitment for labour or services, forced marriage and child labour.

Have you heard of someone being brought to Australia with the promise of a job with good wages, only to be severely underpaid or not paid at all? This would be one example of modern slavery.
